It is believed the man and woman were known to each other, police have said.

A 65-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murdering a 93-year-old woman in Cornwall, according to police.
Authorities responded to a residence in Cherrill Gardens, Bude, on Sunday afternoon. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and her family has been notified.
The man, who is from the area, is currently in custody, as reported by Devon and Cornwall Police.
Detective Inspector Rob Smith stated, “It is believed the man and woman were known to each other.”
He reassured the local community that the incident is considered “isolated” and emphasized that officers are not looking for any other suspects “at this time.”
