Following BMW's withdrawal in 2009, the team reverted to Peter Sauber. The first car of this new era was the C29.
Kamui Kobayashi, who had left the also-withdrawn Toyota team, was signed as a driver, bringing relief to Japanese fans.
This model is a special edition C29 featuring the "40" logo, commemorating Sauber's 40th anniversary of racing in 2010.
The item has been carefully stored at home, but being old, there are some scratches on the case and yellowing of the base due to aging. The car body itself appears to be in good condition.
