These paper shorts from JapanMade-ya, which are currently discontinued, are for sale.
I wore them for one season, and while the color is still quite vibrant, they don't fade much anymore even after washing. However, there's still a possibility of color transfer when washing, so caution is advised.
There are no noticeable scratches or stains.

Regarding the size, I felt that XL was a bit smaller than expected, so even those who usually wear L-size shorts from brands like The North Face probably won't find them overly oversized. Personally, I think they would fit better for those who usually wear size L, but those who want a more fitted look can also go for XL.
