SU-PAKA-POOH Jellyfish 7 inch Rare

Su-Paka-Pooh, a project by Chikashi Ishizuka, who is based in Tokyo and has been actively DJing, running the label Nice & Slow, and releasing music from the same label, has remastered their masterpiece "Kurage" released in 1999, and it's now available on a 7-inch, including an instrumental dub version for the first time! The world created by the relaxed rhythm and simple, heart-touching melody, like a jellyfish drifting in the sea, and Asato's clear vocals is still amazing even now! The pleasant B-side with its outstanding acoustic performance is also superb!

This is a remastered 7-inch single of the masterpiece by Su-Paka-Pooh, a project led by Chikashi Ishizuka, who is active in Tokyo and is also known for covering Art Ensemble Of Chicago's "Theme De Yo-Yo." The peaceful melody, the clear voice of Asato, the vocalist of Reggae Disco Rockers, and the relaxed groove are all perfect. And this time, the dub version is included on the B-side for the first time. The vocals that seep into the space, the three-dimensional percussion, and the dub processing that is not excessively effective but is used at key points, make you feel a little cooler in the hot summer, which is pleasant. The jacket design is also excellent.
