Vintage African Leopard Toothpick Holder Nya Salano Dark Wood Folk Art 6" RARE

Measures approx: 6" long & 3" tall. (On the smaller side).

Labeled “Nya Salano – My Brother My Friend," featuring a spotted leopard or panther resting over a rotating disc toothpick holder.

Likely made in West Africa like Ghana, Nigeria, or Cameroon

Made of dark wood (likely ebony or rosewood) with a carved label in bone or bone like material. A unique piece of African folk art from the late 20th century.

Condition: Some scratching on surface and one minor chip. I also notice the leopard is missing the right bottom tooth but not really noticeable unless looked at head on (which I photo above). Please see all photos as this is being sold AS IS.
