vintage metal basket handbag

A tisket a tasket a little metal basket. @ 1940's or 50's. No label to indicate maker. This very unique little bag looks like a miniature picnic basket. It measures 9 1/8" L X 5 1/8" W X 4" H. All silver metal except for the lid covers which are plastic with silver metallic threads and embroidered pink flowers in a wreath shape. Both lids have a ball and ring latch. The handle is stationary. It has tiny bottom feet. The front and back are woven metal strips. The sides and bottom are solid. The metal has overall oxidation with scuffs, scratches and pitting in spots. Finish loose on both ends of the handle. The black fabric lining is in good condition with just some light scuffs.
